Is Olive a beauty queen? Why or why not?
In my opinion Olive is a beauty queen because she is a very intelligent girl. She knows what she wants in life and she is focus on her goal of being a queen. She wants to know about everything and she gives very good advices to her family.
Moreover, she asks all the time more and more. Maybe some people think that she is not beautiful, because she is a bit overweight. It seems that beauty is synomym of being skinny for the contest. I think beauty means more than being skinny. It is about your position about life and how you can overcome the obstacles being yourself. You do not need to be skinny for showing to world you are beautiful.
How do parents influence their children´s social development?
Parents have a strong influence in their children´s social life. For instance, children are like big sponges. They retain all what they see in their environment. 
Parents have an important role,but in some cases if they are very strict, their children can be shy. Parents influence children during their whole life. They teach them values in other to face up obstacles. Children follow most of the time parents steps, because they are looking for pattern in order to be accepted in the society. In other words, parents should be very careful about the attitudes they teach because they are a big influence in our lives!
