Enjoy your life with happiness!

In my opinion happiness means a lot of wonderful things around life.

I am happy when I express my feelings by writing short stories and poems.

I can also feel happiness

when I travel or I receive a flower.

In addition, this word is not easy to describe, but I describe it as a good experience in life .

Here there is another picture of happiness in Ottawa!

We can find happiness in many ways; for instance, when people smile, children eat an ice cream or when a mother have a baby. In other words, feeling happiness is to love who you are and how you can make others happy around the world.

Is Olive a beauty queen? Why or why not?

In my opinion Olive is a beauty queen because she is a very intelligent girl. She knows what she wants in life and she is focus on her goal of being a queen. She wants to know about everything and she gives very good advices to her family.

Moreover, she asks all the time more and more. Maybe some people think that she is not beautiful, because she is a bit overweight. It seems that beauty is synomym of being skinny for the contest. I think beauty means more than being skinny. It is about your position about life and how you can overcome the obstacles being yourself. You do not need to be skinny for showing to world you are beautiful.

How do parents influence their children´s social development?

Parents have a strong influence in their children´s social life. For instance, children are like big sponges. They retain all what they see in their environment. Parents have an important role,but in some cases if they are very strict, their children can be shy. Parents influence children during their whole life. They teach them values in other to face up obstacles. Children follow most of the time parents steps, because they are looking for pattern in order to be accepted in the society. In other words, parents should be very careful about the attitudes they teach because they are a big influence in our lives!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!!

My name is Virna Beatriz Meneses Moreno

and I was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Ant. U.R.S.S.).

As I was a little, I was growing up in Costa Rica with my grandparents.

My Father is from Costa Rica and he is living there and

my mother is from Venezuela. Now I lived with my mom in Mérida, where I study at the University of Los Andes.

My study consists of two languages: English and French,

and I also study German and International Organization as a part of my options. I love studying languages and I enjoy learning about different cultures, people, food and customs. Everyday I expect to learn something new about life.

Now what am I doing? As a part of my study, I need to do an internship,

for that reason I choose YUELI. I listened that I can improve my English skills a lot and the teachers are excellent. So I am glad about my choice. YUELI is the best if I want to learn English and I am sure I would learn a lot!!! Living in Toronto is fantastic! As my teacher Patricia told us! I learned this new word that made me think, English is fun!! and I would improve a lot everyday!

My family consists of two brothers and three sisters. They live in Venezuela and Costa Rica and we keep always in touch. My sister is studying English for becoming a teacher! I have also 5 hostbrothers from Holland and Germany. My host Family live in Weesp, a small town near Amsterdam. I had been there for one year, it was one of my best time!!!
